Onelist, or rather Egroups doesn't do this. The private type3 server doesn't do this. If there is Re: in the beginning of the subject, those servers just let the rest be like it is. But I agree, we don't need the [VANAGON] in the subject.

And Mick Reynolds, you can filter from E-mail addy. I know some listees does this, they can probably tell you how, if you tell us what mail client you use.
