I can see the bumper end caps (small bumpers) in the mirrors, that gives me plenty to guide the van after. When I have to back up off road, I usually adjust the mirrors to see the rear tires. In the forest, it is more important to see where the tires tread, than not to bump into a bush or tree. Speed is no concern in the forest either.
