I use Hotmail via Internet Explorer and have been unable to set the filters in Hotmail to direct my list mail. The only "from address" I see from my list mail is the actual list member who sent the message.

I tried to set a filter to direct mail from "vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM" to a folder of my choice without success. The mail messages appear to come from the list member not from the Vanagon list!

Has anyone else using Hotmail been able to set the filters to route the Vanagon list mail to a designated folder other than Bulk Mail?

Gary

Mick, Putting [vanagon] in the subject line would shorten the space for the subject... something that you forgot in your post .... getting a good read on the subject without opening each post is key to being able to move through the great quantities of email on the vanagon list.. much of which I just delete based on the subject line.
