found this out there on the web ... if you go to http://www.modelcarkits.com and click on Online Catalog, then put in 'vanagon' (without the quotes) into the search box and click on Search, you get this:

X101-R/M-7633 ...... $7.95

now, R/M should mean Revell/Monogram, the folks that make the vanagon camper kit. and the number 7633 IS the number of the 1/24th scale (about 8 inches long) that Revell/Monogram makes/made. anyway, that's a really cheap price ... hope it's not a misprint. shipping would likely be about $6 or $7.

for those interested, the kit can be made with sliding door open or closed, rear hatch open or closed, and pop-top up or down. front doors do NOT open, and the underside of the bus appears to be an automatic transmission, but the interior has a 4-speed gear shift. ;) it has round headlights (like the 80-85 buses) and is molded as an aircooled (no lower radiator grill) but has a decal that will add the lower grill. :) interior is fairly detailed with cabinets and fridge and so forth.

just in case you wanted a model of your camper. :) not sure where you can find 1/24th scale people. ;)

X101
