Subject:   Fridge "pops" when I try to light it but.....
Content-Type:   text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hi All,

In my continuing saga to try to figure out how to get the fridge in my Westy to work, I made a bit of progress today, I think....

I turned on the propane, lit the burners in the stove for about 15 minutes then shut the burners off. About 1/2 later, I tried starting the fridge on propane. I held down the thermocoupler button for about 30 seconds, pumped the air pump and hit the ignition switch....and "POP" there was a small explosion like a small fire cracker....I tried it again and another "POP"...

....however, the fridge refused to stay lit. Should I throw in the towel and bring it to a professional? ....or... is there something else I can try?

Thanks.

Ric
