Hey Steve,

I just bought (on EBay... where else??) the VW Service Training manual "1986 Vanagon and Vanagon Synchro" which lists (p. 2) as a "special feature"... "one key system" for Vanagon and Camper. It doesn't list that as a special feature for Synchro and Camper Synchro.

(Also, I apologize for failing to send you my keys. My hard drive crashed and I'm only now recovering... too slowly... bits and pieces of old "saved" email).
