Subject: Propane Tanks, Carver P4 Propane Heater, and Auxiliary battery
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

I have two questions. First question, does anyone have an extra propane tank and mounting hardware in good shape for a 1991 Westfalia Vanagon they would be willing to sell and ship? Or is it best to just buy a new tank? I believe they are around $200.

Second question, I live in Northern, NJ and am looking for someone who can either install or help me install a Carver P4 propane heater, (by the way, Steve at EuroCampers/SKL Enterprises was extremely helpful), an auxiliary battery with inverter, and extra propane tank. Of course I would be willing to compensate this person for their time and effort. I have searched the vanagon.com mail archives and have printed very detailed and helpful instructions (Thanks Harald Nancy, Steve Sittser and others), however my experience in these areas are limited. Therefore, as mentioned above, I am looking for someone in the Northeast (more specifically eastern PA, western NY or NJ) who could help me with this project. Time is somewhat of an element as I am planning a 3-4 month trip starting in the June/July time frame. Any suggestions, recommendations or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, Doug Hornberger 1991 Westfalia Vanagon "Roamer"
