I have bought an instrument cluster from Bus Depot complete with tach and installed it in my 91. Tach worked no problem just hooking up the existing wires. I have no idea what will happen in an 82. Would have to check in the Bentleys. The speedo should not be a problem have changed them with out any problems. Only the syncro speedos are different as they are connected to the drive train rather then the front wheel.
