My newly-acquired '85 Westy needs three keys (a real PITA): 1. Ignition (only) key 2. Front door key (left/right) 3. Sliding door key To open the rear gate door uses key 2 or 3 (I just try until one works). I've never tried to lock the glove box. The gas cap is not lockable (I don't know if that is good or bad).
