I'm ready to drill holes through them and pin them in place. I've had my wiper arm come loose at the most inopportune times. Always the driver's side, of course. It's a wonder there hasn't been a recall for those death traps. All to save a couple of pennies rather than install a circuit breaker. Bought a new arm, cleaned up the shaft, still a problem, usually in the middle of the night in the pouring rain behind a semi. Looks like the only answer would be to tear everything down & replace the shafts, or go the pin or JBWeld route.
