Hello listees- I just had my '88 Westy's A/C system repaired and converted to 134a (NOT a cheap fix!). The mechanic pissed and moaned about having had to remove the rear cabinet and how much of a hassle it was to deal with...(umm, what did I just pay you through the nose for??). On the drive home I thought- gee, I'm really not feeling that arctic blast on the back of my neck like I thought I would...hmm. Well, there is nothing coming out of the side vents that run above the sliding door. The vents above the back seat are working fine. Are the side vents supposed to carry A/C to the front of the cab, or is this only for heating? Maybe something is plugged or a hose not connected? I can't wait to take this back and have it reworked:(( Thanks for advice... Candis |
