<fontfamily><param>Times</param>Two questions: I am going to have the AC repaired on my '87 GL, and I am wondering if anyone has recommendations for modifications. The system I have now has both blower units and the central/forward vents. I am considering the switch to non-freon (R134?), but I want to make sure whichever I use is the best for cooling- I live near Tallahassee, FL and during our long summer the heat and humidity are intense. Second question: rear catch on my sliding door occasionally unlatches. No real safety problem (yet), but it adds a fair amount of wind noise and it is just plain annoying. Any suggestions? I have tried lubricating it, seemed to help some but the problem always returns. Grateful for any help on either question.
Thanks, Mack
