Subject:   anyone used an aftermarket electric fan to replace stock unit?
Content-type:   text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

85 1.9L My cooling fan sounds like its not doing so well on low speed. Sounds like it's limping along at less than the desired speed. I haven't checked on a new replacement yet (vendors?) but I was wondering whether or not anyone had used an aftermarket electric like those found here:

<http://www.flex-a-lite.com/auto/electric_fans.htm>

or here:

Any idea of what the CFM air movement is on each of the three speeds? (I've got A/C)
