I seem to recall a recent post by Mark Drillock on this subject, and from his post it sounded like a MAJOR undertaking to mount a Syncro tank in a 2wd. Something about the height of the engine and transmission, etc.

It is possible (with some shade-tree engineering) to mount the syncro tank into the 2wd body. Further, there are after-market tank co.'s that make box tanks that fit under you van floor. You could conceivably use un-used space in the interior of the van for a LARGE tank, and drive cross the USA non-stop. Maybe.

Has anyone adapted their fuel tank(s) so that you hold more than the standard tank? I am getting about 250 a tank, and that just is not far enough. Any help is appreciated.
