Subject: Vacuum Advance Connection??
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I recently noticed that the engine in my 82 has a vacuum advance on the distributor with TWO vaccum connections. It was bought new in TX, so I don't think it is a CA model (however maybe the engine was??? It is not the original, see > uknown engine #GD000861). Long story short only the connection facing away from the distributor is connected (to the throttle body). The connection facing the distributor is left open. The book shows that a standard 82 only has one connection and a CA model has two connections, where the one facing the distributor connects AFTER the throttle body. I don't seem to have a place to connect mine to. Does anyone know why I have two connections and where the connection facing the distributor should go??

Thanks, David
