Don't waste your time or money.

I've used the tint from "Gila" and others when I was younger, cheaper, and more ignorant. Sure, you can apply it neatly, and make it look professional for about 6 months.

Then the cheap dyes, and poor adhesives come back to haunt you. Soon you have lavender windows, with bubbles and wide seams. Then the corners start to peel, and the adhesive is left on your glass. Ugh.

Save your $$$ and have a pro apply top-notch quality film. 3M makes good film, as do a few others. Look for 'sputtered' film, as this doesn't use dyes, which can fade, but instead uses a molecular coating of metal, which is permanent. It is well worth the $$ to have a pro do it with great materials.
