Whoa! I think I'm seeing some 'knee jerk' reactions to this query. If you read what Karl really says, the operative word is 'option'. I'm sure the committee hasn't ruled out the 'option' of paying by check or money order or even cash. I think most of us are aware that not all Vanagon (or by any other name) owners live in the USA.

I, for at least one, like having the option of PayPal (since I am already signed up with them and have had no bad experiences). I have used it about a dozen times now. 'Nuff said.
