Subject: Re: Window chrome moulding
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

I exchanged all window moldings last year. I purchased it from Go-Westy. Chrome mouldings(plastics) were composed by six parts. Then, six channels(alum). All prices were almost USD$100.00. (Included Int'l shipping) I posted this work to list.

** 31th/Oct/99 I wrote.. ** I carried out this work recently. I removed all chrome beadings from Westy. But, I didn't leave the window. I say my working process. 1) Remove all beadings from Westy. 2) Wash all the window rubbers. The bottom part of the rubber is choked with the mud. You must remove them with the toothbrush. 3) Prepare the "lubricating oil(CRC-556)" ,"Ice pick", "Big *-*Screwdriver".. I attached beading to westy with the tool of only this. 4) Keep channel which connects Beadings. 5) Attach new beadings from the channel position a little by little. Beadings hangs down. You fix it on the roof top by the tape. 6) The close attention is necessary for the work. I spent it on one window for one hour 30! Attention!!! The pain of your thumb won't be recovered for a while. I still have that pain. ***************** If you hope, will up the picture of Westy moldings to my web.

Thanks for your time,
