I assume that these discs are standard diameter, swept area and thickness, and so will fit the stock calipers?

Personally, I would be more interested in discs with a larger swept area (and obviously matching calipers) and rear discs...whenever I might be able to afford them.

Regarding drilled discs, I once had an old Honda 740 Four with 900 kit. This had twin front discs which had been swiss-cheesed, and these never gave any hint of trouble. They worked pretty well too, but the drilling certainly didn't help in the rain! The holes probably retained water, lubricating the disc surfaces. Never did try metal pads...
