My newly-acquired '85 Westy needs three keys (a real PITA):

1. Ignition (only) key 2. Front door key (left/right) 3. Sliding door key

To open the rear gate door uses key 2 or 3 (I just try until one works). I've never tried to lock the glove box. The gas cap is not lockable (I don't know if that is good or bad).

Now for the $1,000,000 question: Is there any way, other than replacing the locks, to reduce the key count?

John
