You don't mention if it works on AC or 12v. I assume that you are talking
about difficulties with propane operation?
The fridge is really fairly simple in its operation, and getting it to work
on propane shouldn't be difficult if everything is operational.
Last year, my fridge suddenly went from making ice in an hour to not being
able to chill down more than 15-20 degrees below ambient temp. I pulled it
out, pulled apart the combustion chamber, and found that a little
caterpillar had decided to make his home in there. When the fridge lit for
the first time after that, he was charred to a crisp, but the husk was just
enough to prevent efficient combustion, thereby not creating enough heat
from the burner.
I cleaned it out, reassembled and voila! good as new, and back to making
ice in an hour or two. :-)
