I believe that Allen-head capscrews are more common, and I found that I needed to shorten the short end of a 6mm hex key in order to fit it into the available space. In the tools section where he speaks of a universal-joint extension, do not dream that you might get away without it. You'll have enough trouble *with* it. It is a considerable nuisance, to put it mildly, but you ought to be able to do it in a day with time out for cussing. If you have the slightest doubt of the thermostat (and maybe if not), this is the time to replace it with a dealer unit or one of the OEM-type ones from Bus Depot etc. Likewise the very short length of hose btw the pump and head. david At 13:45 5/8/2000, Melissa J.
