This is on the face of it absolutely sound advice -- I'll just point out that 1) gasoline vapor is heavier than air, 2) The fridge draws its air from a point about three feet off the ground, on the other side of the vehicle, 3) there is no instruction in the manual to shut off the fridge while fueling.
