I have the same tires Continental Contact tires, they are EXCELLENT on snow and ice - we get plenty of both here in Winnipeg.

Once caveat though, there is some anecdotal evidence (happened to me) that they have a predilection for belts going South.

Had a thump-thump - tire had a bulge. Got it replaced, under warranty.

I am going to use the same tires next time, FWIW. Besides, they look great.
