I assume that the RPMs went up due to a stronger spark. Now MAYBE new "regular" spark plugs would have also increased the RPMs, but my old Bosch "regular" plugs were not very old and in good shape.

Cute comment on Westies being designed to get us from fix-it shop to fix-it shop. :-) Malcolm
