I really don't think Tim is pessimistic. More like cynical from going through a lot of BS and learning what works and what doesn't. At least he is more articulot thun eRIC.

Oh yeah, BTW, a chip for a Vanagon is a complete waste of money. Chipping something like a 1.8T is one thing. The WBX just won't respond the same way. In a vehicle as heavy as a vanagon, I doubt you would feel any seat of pants difference.
