Subject: My Fridge works!!! was Fridge question (Sorry)
Content-type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Sorry for the waste of bandwidth but I had to share this with people who would understand my joy.

Thanks to all who replied to my post yesterday --- the consensus was that I should try lighting the fridge after I'd run it on AC for awhile. I did this last night and it fired right up. I was delighted and somewhat stunned. I turned it off and lit it again. I felt the comforting heat on the burner box. I touched the exhaust stack to see if it was warm. Ouch --- damn, that gets way hotter on propane than on AC.

Now I just have to put it back in the van and hope it continues to light in there..............

Thanks again to all of you --- and particularly to Frank Condelli and Sean Bartnik whose web postings on Fridge care and feeding were invaluable.

I'm so happy!!!!!!

Cheers, Doug '84 Westy (in a state of Dometic bliss) Toronto,Canada
