Subject: 90 Vanagon Power Window Problem
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

Has anyone had experience repairing the power window mechanism? The window on the passenger side quite working and is stuck about three inches from closing. I took the door panel off and found that the cable from the mechanism box to the middle of the bottom of the window is out of place. It seems like the mechanism wound up too much cable and pulled the plastic guide out of the track. Can I repair this or should I start looking for replacement parts?

Thanks, Daniel Paul 90 Vanagon in Arkansas, Oklahoma, . . .
