Another good example: The "Original" VW Vanagon Oil filter that VWoA sell
through their dealerships. Is it made in Germany? Nooooo. Is it US? Yeesssss. Is
it crap? Yeessss. Which could also mean that the country is not always to blame
for the quality of the parts.

Btw, I am not saying that the German filter is perfect either.
