Yup, you did. <g> 3600/mph will give you seconds, 3600/seconds gives you mph. For example, 75 mph <<>> 48 seconds. If your wristwatch has a "tachymeter" scale around the face -- used to be common before they figured out all sorts of other useless things to put there -- you can read mph direct off that. That's the scale that starts at 60 at the top, and goes counterclockwise to 800 or so.
