Hello
My 86 Vanagon is running very rich (loss of power and
even stalling) and the mechanics process of elimination
after 3 hours of diagnostic work points toward the ECU
(Digifant #025906022). But its not definite and the
computer will cost me $750 part only. What do I do? Is
a used computer out there? Can the computer be
tested/diagnosed? Repaired? Any advice or direction on
how to economically proceed with this repair will be
tremendously appreciated.
