Hi Eric - and the rest of you too....


My -88 Vanagon has been going 111K US miles with no major problem at all AFAIK !, 
I´m the second owner and the first had a book where every service - changed bulbs, oil, tyres, fan belt, brake pads, balljoints etc.- were noted and there is no bigger things than that !!
BTW I´m just on my way to change the original silencer ( the little short one on the cat. model ) , I hope this isn´t the first sign of the total breakdown :-)
