hi, It seems that I will be getting a company van and it is time to set a vehicle free from the flock. here it is, 82 Vanagon diesel L 7 pass 4sp daily driver. 170k, head gasket, timing belt and pump timed 13k ago. New glow plugs and one rebuilt injector last winter. Brown and tan outside Tan velour seats from an 85 inside. Runs and drives well, cruises happiest around 60mph and gets 30 MPG all around. Has a very solid body with only minor age wear and rust in the usual spots and small accident damage in the passenger rear corner. As for problems, the blower doesn’t work, the aux diesel heater in the back has never done anything more than click the relay, the radio stinks and sometimes the starter requires a second key turn (has never NOT worked, though) and it has the general creaks of a vehicle with 170k. Ive been using it as a run-around work van. (just lumber etc, nothing really filthy) Currently registered, NYS inspected and useable as is or would have all necessary parts for an I-4 conversion. I want to get $1300 for it as it is worth close to that in hard to find conversion parts alone. I am located in Nyack, NY approx 25 miles north of NYC and 2 miles from the Tappan Zee bridge.
