Subject: Any Vanagon events in the SF Bay Area...
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Having recently acquired an '87 Westfalia (still with its Colorado plates), I'm wondering if there are any list member events here in the SF Bay Area (or reasonably nearby).

The support of this list has been invaluable so far, as it helped me make the decision to actually buy a water-cooled van in the first place. Now, I'm in the process of fixing a few things like a stuck power window, shrunken cabinet moldings, and cracked headlight lenses etc. I have been able to find all of these problems addressed on this list.

(When it comes time for tires, the light (and heat) shed by the recent thread on this subject will hopefully come in handy).

I plan to do some camping this summer, and would like to know if there are any group events planned in California, and specifically in the greater Bay Area. Not that I don't mind driving a bit, just thought I'd check out my own backyard first.

Thanks in advance!

...Dan
