Well, as I said in a P-mail to the Doktor - his logic is sound.

My take on it is that there ARE a lot of anecdotal claims made in this industry, and it's true, if there is no data, HOW DO YOU KNOW?

As an extreme example of this, my mother once said to me, that she always stores her cottage cheese upside down in the fridge, because it lasts longer that way - before it goes bad.

I can come up with several hypotheses for why that MAY be true - but I asked her "How often does you store it right-side up?" She said, "Never - I always store it upside down."

So, I said to her; "Then, how do you know it lasts longer?"

Well, my mother doesn't talk much to me anymore about her cottage cheese.

I imagine Terry isn't going to speak much to Doktor either about the performance chip;>)

Doctor Tim, Your pessimistic views are alway appreciated, being the broad-minded guy that you are. However,I am going to purchase, when available, the power chip for my 1.9 and see what happens. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Thank God Edison,Marconi, Silas McCormick, and a long list of others didn't think like you. We all would still be living in caves. Chow Chow for now,

Terry
