It uses very little gas compared to the stove. And it doesn't quit cooling every time you stop the beast. And you never forget to switch over to gas when you pitch camp. And you don't have to open the fridge door and let all that nice cool air out...

I wouldn't bet on it. Most of what you burn goes up the stack.
