Just offhand, sounds to me as though you have some junk floating around in your tank, and you've just filled up another fuel filter. Pull it off and see if it's clogged...try blowing through it. If you pinch the hose with a hose pincher from the FLAPS, or in a pinch <g> with a visegrips, you won't have a big mess when you take the filter off. Little mess, maybe. Set your cigar down before you do this.
