Tom, I just had the same hose go belly-up. I checked with the Bus Depot and Ken Wilford (www.vanagain.com), and unfortunately there are no aftermarket or alternative sources for VW hoses. Ken did suggest to try an a/c place or NAPA to get a hose made up, but in the end I decided to swallow the 300-odd clams and buy the hose from VW instead. On the compressor, I would use Ken or the Bus Depot...much cheaper, as you have found. Joachim
