Hi all. Two questions: I was always told to put a little more oil (up half a litre) in the in the air cooled engines for Aust. conditions. I've just changed the oil and filter in the 92 transporter and accidently over filled by about 250 -350 ml. Should I drain the excess or leave it in? (It uses about 250 ml per 2000 kms). Sometimes at take-off, reverse and forward, at low revs I get shuddered, if I increase revs it doesn't happen. I thought it could also relate to my original posting ' popping out of first gear when descending steep grades and hitting a bump'. Any suggestions? Thanks and thanks in advance, frank |
