I'm stuck with a half removed water pump... Three of the four bolts at the coolant pipes from the pump are stuck tight and I'm doing little more that opening up the hex a little more each time I try. My thought was to remove the pump with these pipes still attached but the length back to the PS head is squeezed between the block and the crank pulley leaving too little movement to clear the studs. QUESTION: If I cut the short pipe from the pump will I be able to get a replacement? Any list-vendors have these or are they Dealer Only? Worse yet, salvage (none locally)? Haven't done it yet, but thats why I ask the list... --Chris Arnold '87 GL '86 honda (239k mi) |
