Put a set of Vredestein Transports on my '82 Westy about eight months ago.
Very happy with them, seem to be a very good tire in the dry and the wet.
Dont know about the snow, don't get any where I live!
The steering was a lot lighter and more precise, but then the previous tires
were not 'C' rated tires.
I went to a 195 to change the gearing slightly.
I would certainly buy them again!
