'83.5 9 pass van..red and white. 4spd. has been sitting for a while. van starts right up, and idles fine. but clutch pedal is "frozen/stuck" in up position. van was parked for a while in neutral w/ e-brake off. Van shifted/drove fine prior to parking. Now when i start it up, i can shift freely thru all the gears with the van idling ---- wirthout depressing clutch. (obviously, since clutch pedal is stuck in up position) thinking it was the clutch mast cyl, i replaced that. it then freed pedal up for a min until i bled out line/refilled brake fluid resivoir, and brought it back up to pressure. now its stuck again. what else could it be? clutch slave cyl back by tranny? maybe piston rusted/stuck open, and its keeping the slave cyl from engaging clutch pplate? any ideas? ive never had this happen before.. any ideas appreciated.. thanks chris
