What is the luggage area like in other ~87 Westies. Mine has the mattress directly ontop of the engine cover. No carpet or matting, straight onto paint. Surly some soundproofing here and under the rear seat would be highly beneficial. I was thinking of putting in some wooden rods, width-ways across the boot/trunk area, at the height of the top of the rear seat. This would stop me from putting bags etc on top of the matress. Would keep my luggage hidden from view. It would also be v. easy to remove the 3(?) rods to allow the matress to drop down for sleeping. What arrangement do other people have, I'm not interested in major carpentry projects, from a skill/laziness/time/orginality perspective. Regards Andy 87 Westie in Winchester England. Trying hard to write in 'international' English trunk -> boot wooden rods -> dowel hob -> cooker (from a previous post) ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com |
