my '81 Westy didn't pass the DE state emission test: the CO% at idle was 1.75 (allowed 1.20), it passed all others (CO at 2500 rpm 1.12% (allowed 1.20), HC (ppm) at idle 163 (allowed 220) and at 2500 rpm 165 (allowed 220). The PO took out the cat. So after putting back a cat, can I assume that it will indeed pass the emission or will I need to get a tuning/adjustment ? Thank you Karl. |
