Mine started making a wobbly, knocky noise before it went. When I checked it with the engine running - *horrors*, I could see the pulley jiggling on the water pump! I replaced it straight away & noticed it had juuuust started to score the block. Also, there's a hole in the casting of the water pump, underneath by the pump shaft. This usually starts peeing coolant before the pump becomes visibly worn ... Pete C -- Peter Cassidy, pcassidy@apple.com Sr. Test Dev. Engineer +353-21-284316 WW Operations Apple, Cork, Ireland. |
