You indicated you tested the leads. A new set might make a difference. Check the fuel pressure regulator. Check the Hall Ignition control unit. Prolly on the driver side by the coil on the 84's. Install the capacitor fix on the AFM. I know it's new butŠ Ground the AFM. There should be a 13mm threaded hole on the back side of the AFM. USe the Bentley to check the wiring harness for faults. Verify that the O2 sensor is functioning. Verify that the Temp Ii sensor is within tolerance. Even if it is they can still act whacky. Other than that, I don't know. Cheers, Dave C.
