Subject: Excellent road trip/Found Vanagon hub cap
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi Vanagonauts, Just wanted to report on my short weekend road/camping trip. We left Salt Lake last Friday about noon and drove to the San Rafael Swell and camped in a remote area about 30 miles off pavement north of I-70. Quite a rocky road getting in.

Also found a Volkswagen Vanagon hub cap. It was near Swasey's Leap adjacent to Mexican Hat Wilderness Study Area. If anyone can claim it, It is yours free for shipping. Tell me where you lost it and what it looks like. : ) It is the silver plastic cover with a flat surface and VOLKSWAGEN written in a small area.

The trip went well, camped two nights then came home through Huntington canyon. Drove from about 4,000 feet to over 10,000 in an hour. Beautiful.

Total miles 480 RT. No problems encountered except the fridge kept blowing out.

Take care yall, Ken 82 westy
