Hello,
I was wondering what to do. Presently I have a gas leak but, I am not clear
where it is coming from. Here are my observations so far
I filled my tank (one time) and it appeared to be leaking from the small
hoses on the drivers side. I took the van in to a mechanic and I was told
that these hoses generally only carry fumes. The mechanic said they could
not find a leak and did not want to charge for something they did not think
they were fixing.

Since then I have put $5.00 in to watch for leaks. One time, it appeared to
spill out of the top of the neck where you fill the tank on passenger side.
I took it to another mechanic and it did not spill from the neck during that
filling.

I have a friend (who has dropped his tank before) who is willing to help me,
a non mechanical female, drop the tank and replace gaskets and stuff.
However, timing is not good. I really want to get out of town and he is busy
and I am waiting for some parts I ordered to arrive.

The survey question is.  Do I really have a leak?  and is it safe to go on
tour without fixing the tank? Other opinions or advise is welcome.
