Jeffrey (and Karl),
I did the mod several years ago. It's on p 76.25 of the Bentley that covers
all models thru '91. The new one-way check valve was $13.45, the rest of the
mod you do yourself with local parts. It helps because it provides a more
positive airflow to the combustion chamber. But the easiiest way to start it
on propane is still to run it on 110v for a few hours.
