Subject: Sorry missed thread, LP LEAK, use sealant?
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Well after fooling with my 95 EVC Norcold fridge relighter I have it working. But now I have gas leaks at the flamebox connector and main connector on top of fridge. I managed to crank that fitting hard and stopped the leak, however I tested the flamebox connector with soap and it leaks a tiny bit too. I have to pull it again to fix it.

I know this was posted last 2 weeks but I was busy trying to fix my fridge. Ironic huh? I hate CRANKING down so hard to get the fittings to seal on the propane, could I use a tiny tiny smeared bead of RTV on the threads of the fittings to seal them?

Any other methods or suggestions? What was the outcome of the last posting?
